MOE Experiential Camp 2004

MOE’s CCA Branch organised a one-day Uniformed Groups Experiential Camp for Primary 6 students on Thursday, 18 November 2004. The camp was held at the Girl Guide's Camp Christine and Scout's Sarimbun Campsite at Jalan Bahtera. All Primary 6 students in Singapore schools’ Uniformed Groups have been invited to fill out the 800 places for the camp.

At the camp, pupils experienced the various activities of the nine uniformed groups (i.e.: Scouts, Girl Guides, Boy's Brigade, Girl's Brigade, Red Cross, St John's Ambulance, NCC, NPCC, NCDCC) and the Singapore Youth Flying Club. The activities will include archery, controlled line flying, obstacle course, war games and first aid. The camp ended with a campfire.
Our Scout Leader was also a part of the organising committee for the Scout events segment, along with the service Scouts from ACS(I) Scout Group. Everyone had great fun!

Mozzie Buster Course

31 cub scouts signed up for the Mozzie Buster course. When we arrived at the Singapore Scout Association at 9am, the SSA realised that they had misplaced the groups registration after they had deducted our funds for the course fees. Mr Hoe then arranged to have NEA to send their course lecturer to conduct it there at the combined UGs Camp.
