Founder's Day

It was the Founder's Day for all scouts in the world. This year, we first commemorated Founder's Day in school during the assembly. All scouts were dressed in full uniform for the whole day. During recess, we set up our very own booth to demonstrate knots for the others to see. We also had exhibition of the scouting movement, Lord Baden Powell and our activities since last July. many students came by to the exhibition and many were interested in joining our Unit!

Founder's Day

We went to Terror Sea Scouts to commemorate Founder's Day. We started with a solemn flag breaking ceremony. District commissioner, Mrs Vara, read the message before we began the fun games. Our scouts managed to get 2nd in a game at the Push Cart Race event.

Total Defence Day

It was the total Defence Day. The school had organised a food rationing for all pupils. All the scouts volunteered and were at hand at all 4 recesses to help to distribute the food which constists of two packets of crackers and a bottle of NEWater.

Chinese New Year 2005

On the Chinese New Year celebration, our school invited some old folks from Henderson's Home to join us in the celebration. Our P5 Scouts helped to serve and befriended the old folks there. The old folks really enjoyed their time there.

Scout Bookmarks

We made this special set of bookmarks as a token of thanks to those who participating in the Founder's Day Celebrations. There are eight designs in the set, each featuring a quote from Baden Powell. About 150 of each design were printed and given out at our school wide Founders Day celebration which saw enthusiastic participation from almost every student!
