Yishun District Sixers Training Course 2005

Potential Sixers and Assistant Sixers were identified and sent for training at the District Sixers Training Course (STC) from 6 to 8 June 2005. This was the first time we attended a camp organised by Yishun District. While it was really fun to have activities with the other Cub Scouts of the other schools in the district, the sleeping conditions were very bad. I was feasted on by mosquitoes as if I was a blood buffet.

Of the 17 Cub Scouts sent to this course, 14 of us were selected to take on roles of Sixers and Assistant Sixers in the pack. I am really proud to say that my blood sacrifice was well worth it.
