Unity Primary School Father-Son Camp 2006

Unity Primary approached us to conduct a Father-Son Sleepover camp to promote Father-Son bonding and Scouting through fun outdoor activities. It was conducted from 18-19 March 2006 to great success and good feedback. Our greatest gratification is getting Dads interacting with the Sons!
The success of the programme means that it would be conducted again... definitely for WRPS. It has also led us to subscribe strongly to Family Scouting as a key principal of running our programmes.

SouthWest CDC Campfire - Kindred Spirit

Scouts were invited to be song leaders at Campfire on 12 March 2006 which was the climax of the Family Fun-ival event. GOH was PM Lee and the VIPs included various mayors, MPs and Education Minister Mr Thaman S. It was a great night, with colourful performances, dances, songs and games which followed the campfire opening fireworks! The opening was indeed an eye-opener!
