Soaring Eagles Cub Scouts On Channel News Asia's Dengue Documentary

Soaring Eagles Cub Scouts were approached by National Environment Agency to be featured on Channel News Asia's Documentary on Dengue Fever in Singapore: Anatomy Of A Killer. We were invited because of our commitment to promoting the Mozzie Buster Programme beyond our Pack, to Yishun Cluster 3. We had, also, in 2006 attained the highest number of Public Health Badge Awards.

Senior Sixer, Samuel and Sixer Solomon were appointed to represent the Pack. The film shoot for the documentary was done on the afternoon of 17 January 2008 and also featured three Brownies from De La Salle Primary School.

Part 1 of "Dengue: Anatomy Of A Killer" was broadcast on Channel News Asia on Thursday 24 January 2008 at 9:30pm and Part 2 would be broadcast on Thursday 31 January 2008 at 9:30pm.
The school was reflected wrongly and the producer changed it
for the later 3 repeat broadcasts.

And he did it...

Founders' Day Banner

This one was specially designed for our day at Yishun Town Secondary School.
As you can see, it is still missing a few people. We hope to get it ready in time for Founder's Day. It is finally done! All the missing pieces of the puzzle have been filled.

Recruitment

We've been invited to represent the Singapore Scout Association to setup the recruitment booth at the North Zone UGs Open House to be held at Yishun Town Secondary School on Founder's Day this year.

With that inspiration, we decided to create our own posters for recruitment purposes today. Here's what we have so far, and have 4 more to shoot and make.

Which one(s) do you like best?
